Now a days, we all experience hectic schedules in our lives. The modern world has more expectations from us and demands more from us. Very often, we feel that we do not have enough time to finish all the day-to-day tasks. Due to this, we become stressful, frustrated, and unhappy, and are infused with negative thoughts and depression. At the end of the day, we have no energy left to do anything. The only solution to bring-in positive energy is to do Mediation.

The next question that arises is: Where is the time to do meditation? For mediation, all we need is 15 minutes.

Now, what is Meditation and how do we go about it ?

There are different definitions for meditation. To meditate is not to focus on something or someone. Meditation means complete rest. The complete rest of mind, body and soul, or the complete rest physically, mentally, and emotionally. When you are in such a deep resting state, nothing can stir you. To do mediation, we need to be very playful. It is not a serious affair. Be playful and go deeper. The deeper you meditate, the more are the chances that you will get to know yourself. You will come face-to-face to your own being. We see ourselves only in the state of relaxation. Thus, when our mind is relaxed, we are calmer than when we are in the state of agitation. In the calmer state of mind, we can execute things in a more organized manner. When we are organized, we get more time to do all the task that we planned for the day.

Benefits of the mediation are myriad. It has both Physiological and psychological effects.

Physiological effects : Regular meditation has proved to reduce anxiety attacks, stress, blood pressure and cholesterol level. Regular meditation boosts the immune system, increases tolerance, and increases the level of serotonin (low level of serotonin are associated with depression, obesity, insomnia and headaches).

Psychological effects: Religious practice of meditation can increase self-trust, self-love, and self-respect. Doing meditation makes you understand the importance of being in present, makes you more relaxed, and gives you the opportunity to know yourself better. The better knowledge of yourself to you,  gives your the more clarity on your potential and helps you lead a life that is right for you. A true practitioner of meditation has excellent and creative mind.

In-short, mediation is relaxation. Never go against rest and relaxation. The 90% of our daily tasks are futile. Learn to organize your daily routine in a systematic way. Do only the essentials and devote your time more towards the inward journey.

Miracles happen when your mind, body and soul are at rest!
